The Chem-Dry Area Rug Cleaning Method
Red Maple Chem-Dry does not automatically treat every rug like standard wall-to-wall carpet.
Where suitable, Chem-Dry's Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) process uses carbonation to help loosen soil from rug fibres so it can be removed using professional extraction equipment.
HCE uses much less water than traditional steam cleaning. That means less saturation and shorter drying time for rugs where the process is suitable.
Fibre type, dye stability, weave, condition and existing damage are checked first. The cleaning method is selected based on the needs of the rug.
